    The platform? Gen Yodha is being built by Anusha, a marketer and podcaster who experienced the broken networking system firsthand and started building the platform she wished existed.

  • This isn't about titles or perfect headshots. It's about sharing progress, lessons learned, and the behind-the-scenes of building your career in a space that's actually designed for it. No public likes, no follower counts, no vanity metrics. Your voice matters regardless of your audience size.

JOINING & ACCESS

  • We're currently only open to Cohort users. It's a global platform, but we're starting small to get things right!   • Our platform is designed for users with 0-7 years of professional experience. While everyone is welcome to join, comment, and share, posting access is limited to this group. If you have more than 7 years of experience, you're welcome to engage with others' posts and we have more coming soon for you!

  • Yes, you can create a profile, engage, mentor, and be open to coffee chats and messages. However, many of the perks that help individuals build their careers may not be accessible to you. Gen Yodha is built specifically for early-career professionals (0-7 years).

  • Yes! Gen Yodha is a global platform. Early-career professionals from anywhere in the world can join and connect.

MESSAGING & NETWORKING

  • Every message request has a 7-day window. If they don't respond in 7 days, the request expires. Gone. Done. You have your answer. No more wondering if they're ignoring you or just busy.

  • No. There are no read receipts and no "last active" status on Gen Yodha. We removed them on purpose. You send a message, they reply when they can. No spiraling about why they were online but didn't respond!

  • Users can set limits on how many messages they receive. If someone has hit their limit, your message may not go through. Just try again later!

  • Yes, you write a quick note about why you're reaching out. This helps the other person know what you're looking for and decide if they can help.

  • All new messages go to a waiting room first. You see who sent it, their profile preview, the message, and why they're reaching out. Then you can accept, archive (they don't get notified, it just expires), or block. No pressure to respond to everyone.

  • On Gen Yodha, you can see if someone's open to coffee chats and what topics they actually want to discuss. No more reaching out and hoping. You know what they're open to before you ask.

CONTENT & PROFILES

  • Because that's not networking, it's a performance. On Gen Yodha, YOU can see your own metrics (views, saves, comments) so you can improve. But others just see your content. No comparing your Day 1 to someone else's Year 3.

  • Yes! Unlike other platforms where your good posts disappear, Gen Yodha lets you organize your content into portfolio folders. Next time someone says you don't have experience in something, share your portfolio link and let them see years of you thinking out loud.

  • Anything related to your professional journey. Projects you're working on, lessons you've learned, questions you're struggling with, wins, failures, ideas. The stuff that's too "real" for LinkedIn but actually matters.

  • Please do. Gen Yodha is built for authenticity. We believe sharing what's not working is just as valuable as sharing wins. No need to perform or pretend everything is perfect.

  • Yes! You can save posts into custom "Collections" so you can organize and come back to content that matters to you.

  • For now, posts are private and limited to cohort users. However, posts may be visible to the public once we're out of this first stage. We take privacy seriously and will share more on our terms and privacy policy as we expand.

CAREER GROWTH FEATURES

  • Every Sunday, you answer a few questions about what's on your mind, what you want to learn, and who you want to connect with. Based on what you share, you get a personalized action plan for the week. It's about tracking what you say you want vs. what you actually do.

  • Your action plan may include tasks like: who to connect with (and why), what to learn, prompts to create content, and reflection questions. Everything is tied to YOUR goals, not generic productivity advice.

  • Coming soon! You'll be able to search for mentors by industry and skills. If you want to BE a mentor, you can set your availability and what you're offering. Peer to peer mentorship is a big part of what we're building.

  • Coming soon! We're building a jobs board, but Gen Yodha is focused on helping you build your network and showcase your work so opportunities come to you. We're about building careers, not just finding jobs.

AI & FEATURES

  • Yes, but it's useful AI, not gimmicky. We use AI for content moderation (flagging toxic posts), matching you with people based on your check-ins and interests, and generating your weekly action plans. AI should help, not replace your voice.

  • It's a background system that connects you with people based on shared interests and what you write in your check-ins. You get suggestions, and you can thumbs up or thumbs down so the matches get smarter over time.

  • We have a manual verification system to give verified badges to people with 0-7 years of experience. It's about trust and making sure the platform stays true to who it's built for.

  • You won't be verified, but you can still create a profile, engage, mentor, be open to coffee chats and messages. However, many of the perks that help individuals build their career may not be accessible to you. Gen Yodha is built specifically for early-career professionals.
